What the call covers
- iYour options. Which ways of owning a cask fit what you want from it: a single cask or several, the age and distillery that make sense, and how long you might hold.
- iiCosts and responsibilities. Purchase, bonded storage, insurance and the paperwork that proves ownership: the purchase agreement, the invoice and the warehouse confirmation in your name.
- iiiRealistic exits. How selling a cask works in practice, what bottling involves, and the risks to weigh before committing.
Who you will speak to

Adam Francis founded Whisky Solutions Ltd and takes these introductory calls himself. The company sources single malt Scotch whisky casks, holds them in HMRC-approved bonded warehouses in Scotland, and handles storage, insurance and sales for owners, working from offices in London and Edinburgh.
Whisky Solutions sells casks, so this is a commercial introduction. It is also a straightforward one: you ask whatever you want to know, Adam explains how it works, and nothing is decided on the call.

Cask whisky is not a regulated investment. It is not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme or the Financial Ombudsman Service. Values can fall as well as rise and you may get back less than you paid. Take independent advice before buying.
A cask is a physical asset. Selling one can take time, the spirit evaporates slowly while it matures, and storage, insurance and selling fees apply. Adam will go through these on the call. Nothing on this page or on the call is a promise of any return.
